Actor Hrithik Roshan has responded to the mixed reactions to the Ramayana teaser, defending the use of VFX in films and urging fans to consider the intent behind them.
In a post on his Instagram, Hrithik acknowledged that bad VFX exists, but emphasized that it's not always a reflection of the filmmaker's intent.
He cited examples of films like Kalki 2898 AD, Baahubali, and Ramayana, which he praised for pushing the boundaries of VFX and creating new experiences for audiences.
Hrithik urged fans to consider the different VFX styles adopted by makers and to ask themselves if the style is "right for the story" rather than just judging realism.
He also suggested that fans should wait until they've watched the entire movie before judging the VFX, and that makers should give more time to post-production to ensure that VFX are finished before release.
The Ramayana teaser, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, has been generating buzz on social media, with some praising the grand visuals and music while others have given a mixed reaction to the VFX.
