Actor Satendra Soni, who appeared in Aamir Khan's Laapataa Ladies, has alleged that he was threatened and denied payment for a film shoot in Madhya Pradesh. The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has taken note of the situation and urged the Chief Minister to file an FIR against the director.

Satendra Soni claimed that he was promised ₹50,000 in advance for a 10-day shoot, but was only paid ₹50,000 and threatened when he asked for his due payment. The AICWA has expressed concern over the treatment of artists and workers in the Indian film industry and demanded a fair and impartial investigation.

The film workers' body has urged the Honourable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mohan Yadav, to direct the police to register an FIR against the producer and director based on the allegations made by actor Satendra Soni.
