C Joseph Vijay was sworn in as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on Sunday, with Jana Nayagan producer K Venkat Narayana in attendance.
Narayana spoke to reporters about the film's delayed release, stating that they are waiting for a CBFC certificate before releasing Jana Nayagan.
He expressed happiness over Vijay's new role and congratulated him on fulfilling his promises.
The film, starring Vijay, Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde, and Bobby Deol, was initially set for a January release but has been stuck due to certification issues.
Narayana's statement comes after Vijay alleged a 'conspiracy' behind the delay, blaming the ruling parties.
