Dhurandhar The Revenge has been making waves since its release on March 19. The music album, composed by Shashwat Sachdev, has received widespread acclaim. Singer Jasmine Sandlas, who has 5 songs in the album, shared her experience of creating the album with Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast.
Jasmine praised Shashwat, calling him a genius and a dear friend. She credited Aditya Dhar for giving them the freedom to create with their intuition. Shashwat's morning routine involved waking up, praying, and setting his piano to create a melody, which Jasmine would then fit with lyrics to match the emotion.
Jasmine revealed that Shashwat and she could write a song in just 15 minutes. However, the pressure was intense, with the whole team on edge for the last few weeks. Despite the anxiety and nervousness, Shashwat created masterpieces under the pressure.
Dhurandhar tells the story of an Indian spy infiltrating Karachi's underworld in Pakistan, weaving together real-life events like the 1999 IC-814 hijacking and the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The sequel follows Ranveer Singh's character as he takes control of the power dynamics in Lyari and dismantles a terror network.
