Bollywood actor Junaid Khan has opened up about why he no longer shares his scripts with his father, Aamir Khan. Junaid made his debut with the film Maharaj, but his subsequent films failed to strike a chord with audiences.
Junaid revealed that he made the mistake of sharing the script of Ek Din with his father, Aamir, who insisted on producing the film immediately. However, the film received mixed-to-negative reviews and collected only around ₹5 crore worldwide.
Junaid stated that he has stopped sharing his scripts with Aamir because he wants to focus on his career and not get bogged down by his father's involvement. He also mentioned that Aamir gets nervous when he's not in charge, which can delay the production process.
Junaid's comments come as a surprise, given his father's reputation as a successful producer. However, Junaid's decision to go solo with his projects may be a strategic move to establish himself as a serious actor in the industry.
