Kajol is celebrating 20 years of the blockbuster film Fanaa, which she starred in alongside Aamir Khan in 2006. The actress has shared a nostalgic post on her X account, reminiscing about the time she shot for a song in Poland at a chilling -27° C. Kajol wore a thin salwar kameez during the shoot, while the rest of the cast were dressed in warm clothing.
The song Mere Haath Mein features romantic glimpses of Aamir and Kajol on a boat in a frozen lake. Fanaa also starred late Rishi Kapoor, Tabu, Kirron Kher, and Sharat Saxena in supporting roles. Aamir had referred Kajol's name for the role of Zooni in the film, and she eventually agreed after being approached for the project.
