Rihanna once said 'fake it till you make it,' but for actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, self-doubt is a harsh reality. Recently, she spoke to India Today about her struggles with insecurity as she navigates the world of politics.

When asked what frightens her, Kangana candidly admitted that self-doubt is something she continues to grapple with. 'Will I be good enough?' she wondered, especially in her new role as a politician. 'Am I dressing up too much? Is it okay if I wear sleeveless? Am I being judged?'

Kangana explained that stepping into a new profession naturally brings uncertainty and questions. 'So, there are obviously so many fears or doubts that one can have on a daily basis,' she said.

As a newly elected Member of Parliament from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana is balancing her political responsibilities with her acting career. Her upcoming film, Bharat Bhagya Vidhata, is based on true events and tells the story of hospital workers who protected patients during the 26/11 terrorist attacks.

Kangana is proud to be part of a story that salutes those who showed courage and sacrifice during a difficult time. Bharat Bhagya Vidhata is scheduled to release in theatres on June 12.
