Filmmaker Manoj Tapadia's Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, starring Kangana Ranaut, opened to stiff competition at the box office, collecting ₹1 crore net from 2181 shows with an occupancy of 11%.

The numbers are on the lower side, with the film underperforming compared to Kangana's previous film, Emergency (2025), which collected ₹2.50 crore on its opening day.

Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata has also lagged behind the opening of Tejas (2023), which collected ₹1.25 crore, and Major (2022), which collected ₹7 crore.

The film, based on true events, is inspired by the bravery of medical staff who protected patients during the 2008 Mumbai attacks at Cama Hospital.
