Kapil Sharma's latest outing, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, was overshadowed by the blockbuster release of Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh. Despite opening to a decent ₹1.85 crore on its first day, the film's box office performance suffered due to limited screen availability. The makers, however, remain optimistic and have announced plans to re-release the film in January 2026. According to a statement from the producers, the decision to re-release the film was made to capitalize on the enthusiasm of the fans, who appreciated the film's light-hearted comedy and situational humour. The film, which also stars Hira Warina, Ayesha Khan, and Tridha Choudhury, has managed to earn ₹12.31 crore in India since its initial release on December 12. Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is a sequel to the 2015 comedy film, which starred Kapil Sharma as Kumar Shiv Ram Kishan, a man married to four women. The film received a positive review from The Hindustan Times, praising Kapil's comic timing and the supporting performances of Manjot Singh and late actor Asrani. A release date for the re-release has not been announced yet, but fans can expect to see the film back in theatres next month. With its talented cast and relatable storyline, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is likely to entertain audiences once again and prove that it's more than just a washed-out release.
