Saroj Khan was known for being a tough teacher, but she was equally protective of her team. A recent interaction with Bollywood Thikana revealed an incident that led to a fallout between Saroj and Karisma Kapoor.
According to dancer Rubina Khan, Karisma was shooting a song with Saroj when a boy accidentally fell on her while hiding on a tree branch. Karisma became angry and started yelling at the dancer, calling him an idiot.
Saroj Khan intervened, telling Karisma that she couldn't behave like that. The boy had apologized, and Karisma refused to continue shooting, walking out of the set. After that, Saroj never worked with Karisma again.
Despite the reported altercation, when Saroj passed away in 2020, Karisma remembered her fondly, calling her a 'Master', 'Teacher', and 'Dance Guru'.
