Kartik Aaryan's latest release, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, has been struggling at the box office in India. According to Sacnilk.com, the film earned ₹4.97 crore nett on its first Sunday, taking its total collection to ₹23.47 crore nett. This is a slow start for the film, which was produced by Karan Johar under his Dharma Productions banner. The film's performance has been underwhelming compared to Kartik's previous film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which earned ₹18 crore on its fourth day and ₹124 crore within four days. Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, on the other hand, has been unable to gain momentum, with a 25.10% Hindi occupancy on Sunday. The film's technical aspects, including the music by Vishal-Sheykhar, have been criticized for not providing the necessary momentum. The Hindustan Times review of the film noted that it is a 'scenic postcard with no message written on the back,' leaving viewers searching for the love promised by the title. Kartik Aaryan had expressed his enthusiasm for the film earlier, praising the story and direction. However, the box office performance suggests that the film may not meet expectations. The film features Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday in the lead roles, alongside Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles. It was released in theatres on December 25, reuniting Kartik and Ananya after their previous collaboration in Pati Patni Aur Woh.
