Karuppu, the hit film starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from June 12, just 28 days after its theatrical release. The film, directed by RJ Balaji, tells the story of a guardian deity who takes on a human form to prove justice can be delivered through fair means.
Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, Karuppu opened to mixed reviews in theatres but collected ₹193.40 crore net in India and ₹304.15 crore worldwide, making it a much-needed hit for Suriya. The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi on Amazon Prime Video, with a Telugu dubbed version titled Veerabhadrudu.
