New mom Kiara Advani has opened up about her pregnancy journey, revealing how she balanced her work commitments during the seven months of her pregnancy. In an interview with Vogue, she shared that only her director and producer were aware of her pregnancy status. After intense emotional scenes, Advani would retreat to the bathroom in her vanity van to reassure her unborn daughter, 'Mama is just acting, okay.' This emotional coping mechanism helped her navigate the challenges of pregnancy while maintaining her professional commitments. Advani has been enjoying motherhood since the birth of her daughter Saraayah, whom she shares with husband Sidharth Malhotra. She expressed her gratitude for the precious moments spent with her child, saying, 'When I'm with Saraayah, I'm really with her. I notice everything – her eyelashes, her tiny fingers, her giggles.' The actress is set to appear in two upcoming projects: the film 'Toxic' alongside Yash and the 'Don' reboot with Ranveer Singh. In a recent Instagram post, Advani described her role in 'Toxic' as 'transformative,' requiring months of hard work and physical, mental, and emotional dedication. The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026, and will be shot in both English and Kannada languages, marking a first in Indian cinema.
