Actor Kubbra Sait is earning praise for her performance in Prakash Jha's show Sankalp. She spoke to Hindustan Times about her experience working with Jha and Nana Patekar.
Kubbra revealed that Prakash Jha decided to expand her part beyond a cameo after just one meeting. She also shared her experience of working with Nana Patekar, saying that his ease and professionalism were a big learning for her.
Kubbra described the environment on set as 'wholesome' and deeply collaborative. She fondly recalled the camaraderie between Jha and Patekar, saying that they were like 'young boys, cracking jokes, sharing stories.'
Kubbra also revealed that Prakash Jha didn't give her the full script, saying that he told her 'You die, why do you want to know what happens next?' It was only after watching the show that she understood the true weight of her character.
Sankalp is a socio-political drama that stars Nana Patekar in the lead role along with Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Sanjay Kapoor, Neeraj Kabi, Meghna Malik, Tushar Pandey and Roop Durgapal in key roles. The show is available to watch on Amazon MX Player.
