Comedian Kunal Kamra has taken a dig at Pranit More's apology over the ₹370 biryani remark on his show. Pranit had sparked a massive backlash on social media after giving a platform to a man who claimed he deserved a 'return' on his investment for a plate of chicken biryani. Pranit later issued a second apology, asking for a second chance to improve as a person.

Kunal Kamra tweeted that comedians should stop hiding behind crowdwork, among other things. Pranit had said in his apology that he deserved the hate he was receiving due to his crowdwork, which had escalated the situation.

Pranit had also said that he could have stopped the man from making derogatory remarks, but he gave him a platform instead. He has since apologized to everyone who got hurt and is cooperating with the authorities in any legal proceedings against him.

Meanwhile, the man who made the ₹370 biryani remark, Himanshu Jangra, has been terminated from his job at Starvik Design.
