Ever since Kalyani Priyadarshan and Pranav Mohanlal acted together in Hridayam (2022) and Varshangalkku Shesham (2024), fans have been speculating about their relationship. However, Lissy Lakshmi, Priyadarshan's ex-wife and actor, recently shut down rumours of their daughter's rumoured wedding to Mohanlal's son.
Lissy posted pictures on Instagram for the Malayalam New Year, Vishnu, and fans flooded the comments with wishes, but one wrote about Kalyani and Pranav's wedding. Lissy responded with 'false news!'
Kalyani and Pranav are childhood friends and have grown up together. They have played lovers on screen, but Kalyani has described their relationship as sibling-like. Despite recent success in their careers, including Pranav's horror film Diés Iraé and Kalyani's superhero film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, there is no truth to the wedding rumours.
