Actor Madhuri Dixit recently opened up about her time in Denver, Colorado, where she lived with her family for over a decade after getting married to Dr. Shriram Nene.
During a visit to Delhi for an edition of HT City's Stars In The City, Madhuri shared how she and her family kept a low profile in Denver, with locals not recognizing her.
'I was Mrs. Nene there, a surgeon's wife,' she said. 'I had my kids, I go to school, I drop them off and all that.'
Madhuri also recalled an anecdote where her neighbor mistook her for a celebrity trying to get a glimpse of her, but it turned out to be just her.
The actor described her time abroad as 'liberating,' allowing her to enjoy quality time with her family and live her dream.
Madhuri will soon be seen in Netflix's upcoming film Maa Behen alongside Triptii Dimri and Dharna Durga, set to release on June 4.
