Malti Chahar, who was linked to Pranit More during her stint on Bigg Boss 19, feels that the comment reflects a deeper issue - the objectification of women and the lack of respect for their consent. She urged all mothers and future mothers to teach their sons to understand and respect the importance of consent.
The controversy surrounding the comment has also led to the termination of Himanshu Jangra's employment at Starvik Design, after the company's founder, Vivek Vishwakarma, took to Instagram to announce the decision.
