Mammootty has opened up about his experience voicing the superhero leader Moothon in the film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra. In an interview, he revealed that he was 'cheated' into doing the role and initially thought he was only providing a voiceover. He also jokingly mentioned that he would only agree to do the sequel if his fee was paid by his son Dulquer Salmaan.
The film, which was released last year, performed well commercially and saw Dulquer Salmaan use his father's voice for the role of Moothon. The sequel to the film is yet to go on floors, despite the first installment collecting ₹300 crore worldwide.
