A man who broke down while meeting the filmmaker and actor Vedang Raina has reacted to allegations that he was paid to cry for promotion.

The man, Dushyant Arora, a lawyer and columnist, took to X to clarify that he wasn't hired and shared an emotional backstory behind his tears.

He revealed that his grandmother had passed away recently and the film's portrayal of a grandparent with Alzheimer's resonated deeply with him.
