Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee has confessed to contemplating quitting acting for the past decade. Despite a successful career spanning over three decades, he yearns to explore a lighter side of cinema, including commercial entertainers and slapstick comedies.

Speaking with Ranveer Allahbadia, Manoj revealed that he wants to step away from emotionally demanding roles and only act when he feels truly fulfilled. He expressed a desire to do out-and-out slapstick comedy, something completely silly and carefree, without the need for intense preparation.

Manoj Bajpayee is set to be seen in the upcoming film Governor, inspired by India's 1990 economic crisis, alongside Adah Sharma and Noushad Mohamed Kunju. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on June 12.
