Model Sakshi Shivdasani has slammed comedian Pranit More over his apology for a ₹370 biryani remark on his show that sparked a massive backlash on social media.

Himanshu Jangra, a 23-year-old man, had made the comment that he deserved a 'return' on his investment after paying ₹370 for a plate of chicken biryani on a date.

Pranit More had apologized and said the views of his audience members do not reflect his own, but Sakshi Shivdasani took to Instagram to call him out, saying his apology was 'gross and disgusting.'

She added that Pranit More had found the comment funny, but was now apologizing because he had been called out for it, and that the consequences of his actions were only because women raised their voices.

Pranit More had also said that he should have challenged the remark instead of laughing and moving on, and that he would take this lesson forward.

Meanwhile, Himanshu Jangra's company, Starvik Design, had terminated his employment, citing that what happened outside the workplace had affected the workplace.
