Actor Mukesh Khanna has expressed his disapproval over Ranveer Singh's casting in the upcoming Shaktimaan movie and Ranbir Kapoor's portrayal of Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Part 1.
When asked if his mind changed about Ranveer after watching Dhurandhar, Mukesh explained that he doesn't want a big actor for Shaktimaan and wants an image that was not associated with Ranveer. He stated that the face of the actor should suit the character of Shaktimaan.
Mukesh also expressed his disapproval over Ranbir Kapoor's casting in Ramayana: Part 1, stating that one cannot form an opinion on a teaser and that the full film will reveal the truth.
Ramayana: Part 1 is set to arrive in theatres on Diwali this year, while Ramayana: Part 2 will release next year on Diwali 2027.
