Naagzilla, a creature comedy based on Indian folklore starring Kartik Aaryan, has been postponed from its initial August 14 release date. The film, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, will now hit the screens on February 12, 2027, for the Valentine’s Day weekend.

Naagzilla, which was initially announced for the Independence Day weekend, was included in Prime Video's slate of films for this year. The film is a creature comedy based on Indian folklore and stars Kartik Aaryan as an icchadhari naag (shapeshifting snake) named Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand.

Kartik Aaryan was last seen in the 2025 film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri opposite Ananya Panday, which was a box-office disappointment. The actor now has yet-to-be-titled films with Anurag Basu and Kabir Khan lined up apart from Naagzilla.
