The song's nostalgic value has led some to question if it's 'meant only' for the legendary actor. A fan's creative edit, combining Nagarjuna's clips from various films, has garnered attention. Naga Chaitanya, Nagarjuna's son, has reposted the edit, calling it 'killer.' The Dacoit teaser, featuring a remixed version of 'Kannepettaro,' has been well-received, with many praising Adivi Sesh's performance. The film, directed by Shaneil Deo, stars Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur as a couple who team up for a heist. The Hindi version of Dacoit features a remix of 'Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast' from the 1994 film Mohra. Dacoit is set to release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Ugadi.
