Namita Thapar, a judge on Shark Tank India and executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, has faced a three-week-long barrage of abuse online after sharing a video about the health benefits of namaz.

In the video, Namita explained that namaz is a full-body exercise that improves flexibility, supports joint and knee health, and enhances blood circulation. She also noted that it benefits mental health due to its repetitive and meditative nature.

However, a section of social media users criticized Namita for discussing the health benefits of namaz, with some even calling her a prostitute and subjecting her mother to abuse.

Namita has now hit back at her trolls, saying that she has been taught that 'R for Religion' means 'R for Respect,' and that she will not be silenced by hate speech.

She added that Hinduism has a concept called karma, and that she is a proud Hindu who will not be intimidated by online abuse.

Namita concluded her video by saying, 'Continue at your own discretion because god's watching you all.'
