Nicholas Galitzine, the actor behind He-Man in the upcoming Masters of the Universe film, has spoken candidly about his preparation for the role and overcoming the doubts that came with it.
Despite bulking up and undergoing pre-shoot training, Galitzine revealed that he didn't truly feel like He-Man until late in the process. He credited the reactions of others on set, particularly the makers, for solidifying his transformation.
Galitzine also shared his experience of working with Dolph Lundgren, the original He-Man, who was on the sets of the reboot. He described it as an honour and an opportunity to pick Lundgren's brain and learn from him.
The film, directed by Travis Knight, also stars Camila Mendes, Jared Leto, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Kristen Wiig, Morena Baccarin, and Idris Elba. It is set to release in theatres on June 5.
