Actor Paresh Rawal has responded to a comparison between his role in Uri: The Surgical Strike and R Madhavan's portrayal of Ajit Doval in Dhurandhar. The comparison was made by an X user who posted a picture of Paresh as NSA Govind Bhardwaj from Uri, jokingly saying that they didn't show him smoking in the film. Paresh responded by saying, 'Yes dint smoke but only broke the phones.'
Meanwhile, R Madhavan was forced to clarify a scene from Dhurandhar where he was accused of smoking while reciting lines from Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Dasam Granth. Madhavan clarified that the scene was shot with no smoke coming out of his mouth and that the film's team had the utmost respect for the Sikh community.
