Pawan Kalyan's Ustaad Bhagat Singh has taken a major hit at the box office due to the massive success of Dhurandhar 2. The spy thriller earned ₹1.96 crore on its fifth day, the lowest single-day collection so far, bringing the total India net to ₹62.26 crore.

The film clashed with Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh and Arjun Rampal, which collected ₹65 crore on Monday and took its collection to ₹519 crore.

Director Harish Shankar had earlier expressed that he felt it was a collective decision to release the film on the same day as Dhurandhar 2, but believed there was space for two big films in the market.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh is an adaptation of Atlee and Vijay's 2016 film Theri, starring Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna in key roles, and is helmed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
