Peddi Box Office Smashes ₹95 Crore Haul on Day 2, Beats Chandu Champion Lifetime

Peddi box office collection day 2: Buchi Babu Sana's Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer had a strong opening. Here's how it's faring now.

Peddi, the Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer, has made a stunning ₹95 crore on its second day at the box office, surpassing Chandu Champion's lifetime collection. The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has collected ₹25.75 crore net in India, taking its total domestic collection to ₹95.25 crore.

According to Sacnilk, Peddi has registered an occupancy of 32.7% from 9929 shows. The film's performance in Hindi has been disappointing, collecting only ₹2.02 crore from Hindi shows, compared to ₹23.39 crore from Telugu shows.

Peddi's opening day collection was ₹51 crore, with an occupancy of 45.5% from 12,412 shows. The film's premieres brought in ₹18.50 crore, with a 72% occupancy from 847 shows.

Directed and written by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, co-produced by Ishan Saksena under IVY Entertainment and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film stars Shiva Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.

Peddi's budget is over ₹250 crore, with a breakeven target of ₹400-450 crore. With the weekend approaching, it remains to be seen how soon the film reaches its target.
