Buchi Babu Sana's sports drama Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, is set to release on June 4. The filmmakers have received permission from the Andhra Pradesh government to hike ticket prices and arrange special shows, with tickets priced at ₹600, including GST. In Telangana, the makers withdrew their plea for a ticket price hike after the High Court was not inclined to issue an interim order.
Peddi show timings and ticket prices in AP will begin on June 3 at 8 PM. The makers have also been allowed to hike single-screen tickets by ₹100 and multiplex tickets by ₹125 for the first week of Peddi's release. Additionally, permission has been granted to run five shows per day, which will boost the film's opening week collections.
