The Peddi team held a thank you meet in Hyderabad to discuss the film's box-office performance. Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru admitted the film's weak performance at the Hindi box office, but said collections picked up on Sunday.
Venkata thanked the Telugu audience for their support, stating that the film performed extraordinarily on Monday. He also addressed the low collections in Hindi, despite extensive promotion, saying it collected around ₹5.5-6 crore on Sunday.
According to Sacnilk, Peddi collected ₹3.85 crore in Hindi on Sunday, part of its Sunday haul of ₹31.90 crore. The film received massive backlash for its portrayal of Janhvi Kapoor's character, with Buchi issuing an apology and removing objectionable scenes.
Peddi has performed well in Telugu, collecting ₹157.15 crore net in India and ₹233.02 crore worldwide in four days of its release.
