The controversy surrounding Janhvi Kapoor's depiction in Peddi has not affected the film's box-office prospects. On its third day, the film saw a jump in collections, taking its worldwide collections close to ₹200 crore.

Peddi collected ₹18.50 crore net from paid previews, ₹51 crore on Thursday, ₹26 crore on Friday, and ₹28.85 crore net on Saturday. This has taken the film's domestic haul to ₹125.25 crore net (₹150 crore gross) after three days.

The film has also set a record for the best opening for a solo Ram Charan film, surpassing Game Changer's ₹186 crore and Mirai's ₹189 crore. With positive word of mouth, Peddi is expected to cross ₹250 crore by Sunday and beat Prabhas' The Raja Saab's ₹208 crore.
