Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt starred together in the 1991 film Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin. In a recent conversation, Pooja opened up about her experience working with Aamir during the shooting of the film.
She described their on-set dynamic as a 'Tom and Jerry' equation, with the two constantly pulling each other's leg. When asked about long-standing rumours suggesting they shared a romantic spark, Pooja said there was indeed a spark, but it didn't lead to anything tangible.
Pooja also shared stories about Aamir's extensive rehearsals before scenes and how he would stop her from wearing high heels in the film because they didn't suit her character. She recalled another incident where Aamir borrowed his nephew Imran Khan's cap and wore it in the film, despite many people objecting.
Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin is a romantic comedy produced by Gulshan Kumar and directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The film was a moderate box-office success.
