A Prabhas fan was beaten up at a Hyderabad theatre during the re-release of the 2010 rom-com Darling. The incident occurred after the show, with the fan allegedly misbehaving with a female staff member or asking the theatre to replay songs from the film. Videos on the internet show the fan being beaten up by theatre management staff, with one woman even removing her slippers to hit him.
The theatre has not issued a statement about the altercation, but an X account posted a video claiming that the man getting beaten up was their friend, who was protesting after his bag was snatched by a woman in blue uniform.
Prabhas has numerous films lined up, including the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD and Fauzi with Hanu Raghavapudi.
