When asked which aspect of fame, privacy, and peace of mind she had to sacrifice the most, Preity replied that she doesn't believe in sacrificing anything. Instead, she has learned to accept things as they are and manage expectations.
Preity, a private person, expressed her dislike for paparazzi following her around and taking pictures without permission. She understands that some actors invite the paparazzi, but it's not her approach. She is comfortable with them at events but finds it unnerving when they show up outside her home or hide outside her building.
