Producer Vashu Bhagnani has been in the news lately due to a legal dispute with the makers of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. However, a recent report suggested that PVR INOX Pictures was considering legal action against Vashu over alleged unpaid dues.

According to the report, PVR INOX Pictures had entered into a three-film arrangement with Vashu's production house, Puja Entertainment, and had paid a refundable advance of around Rs. 100 crores. However, all three films failed to meet box office expectations, resulting in a loss of around Rs. 100 cr. at the India box office.

PVR INOX Pictures allegedly made repeated follow-ups for the recovery of the outstanding amount, but by evening, they had issued a statement on X denying the reports. The statement read, 'We have noted a recent media report concerning PVRINOX Pictures and Mr. Vashu Bhagnani. The contents of the story are misleading and speculative in nature and do not accurately reflect the facts or the nature of the relationship between the parties.'

PVR INOX Pictures and the Bhagnani family have a longstanding and cordial professional relationship, built over years of collaboration and mutual respect. They stated that commercial transactions and discussions are conducted directly between the parties concerned in the ordinary course of business.
