Filmmaker Rajesh Mapuskar never considered himself a devoted follower of Hanuman ji, but making Chiranjeevi Hanuman: The Eternal has brought him closer to the God. On Hanuman Jayanti, he shares how his connection to Hanuman has grown.
Mapuskar, a National-award winner, says he's experiencing the power of Hanuman Chalisa and recites it daily. He calls Hanumanji 'the world's first superhero' and believes faith in him is essential in today's time.
He explains that Hanumanji lies within all of us and guides us through self-doubt, helping us rise from the dark corners of our minds. Mapuskar considers it a 'divine opportunity' to show Hanumanji's life on screen and is getting full freedom to express himself through the character.
