Actor Rajkummar Rao's upcoming film, a biopic on India's star cricketer Sourav Ganguly, has finally gone on floors. The film, titled Dada - The Sourav Ganguly Story, is being produced by Luv Ranjan and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. Rajkummar took to Instagram to share the news, writing "And it begins… The one and only #DADA" in the caption.
Rajkummar had to undergo a transformation for the role, gaining around 9-10 kgs to get into character. He had to clarify his health concerns earlier this year after fans were worried about his weight gain and new hairstyle. He assured everyone that he was prepping for the film and is now in the transition phase to lose the extra weight and get ready to play Ganguly.
