Bollywood actor Rakesh Bedi has been enjoying a resurgence in popularity following his performance in Dhurandhar The Revenge. In an interview with ETimes, he reacted to filmmaker David Dhawan's remark that he had changed after the film's success.
Rakesh firmly stated that he has not changed despite the success of Dhurandhar The Revenge, saying, 'I don't think too much about who has changed and who hasn't. People change, and that's okay. I know who I am.'
He added, 'I have seen many ups and downs in my life. Like every actor, I have also gone through phases when I had no work and was sitting idle.' Rakesh also mentioned that he has seen even tougher days than that, but none of it affects him much.
David Dhawan had previously said in an interview, 'Rakesh ki toh chaal badal gayi hai (his walk has changed)'. Rakesh responded by saying that he is still the same person, and even if someone says that his walk has changed, he honestly feels he is still the same.
Rakesh will next be seen in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, directed by David Dhawan and starring Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on June 5.
