Veteran actor Rakhee Gulzar has come out in support of Aamir Khan amid online criticism over his third marriage to Gauri Spratt. The couple is set to tie the knot on July 5, 2026, sparking debate about marriage at the age of 60.

Rakhee questioned the age-based criticism, saying that happiness and companionship should not be defined by numbers. She cited examples of other celebrities, including Robert de Niro, who has been in a relationship with a woman 50 years his junior and has a daughter with her.

Rakhee also praised Aamir's nature and the way he has handled his past relationships with dignity. She noted that he has maintained his friendship with his two ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, even after their marriages ended.

Aamir first introduced Gauri to the media on his 60th birthday, revealing that they have known each other for 25 years before reconnecting as partners. He said they are very serious and committed to each other and have been together for over two years.
