The highly-anticipated third season of the OTT series Raktanchal has begun filming in Lucknow, shifting the drama from the Varanasi and Chunar region to the city's corridors of power. Despite the harsh winter conditions, the crew has been shooting extensively in Malihabad, Barabanki, and various locations across Lucknow. One of the key highlights of the new season is the intensifying rivalry between Kranti Prakash Jha and Nikitin Dheer's characters, which is expected to take the revenge drama to new heights. Series director Ritam Srivastav, known for his work on Rafuchakkar, revealed that the show's move to Lucknow was a deliberate choice, as it allows for a deeper exploration of politics and revenge. This season, the focus will be strictly on action, without any romantic subplots. The cast, including Karan Patel, Mahie Gill, and Vikram Kochhar, is fully immersed in the action-packed storyline. The new season also welcomes Rajesh Kumar, who joins the cast. The filming is expected to wrap up by February, with additional shoots scheduled in Varanasi and Prayagraj.
