Actor Ram Charan has hailed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay, praising his decision to leave his acting career to serve the people.
Vijay made a landmark debut in the Tamil Nadu elections, leading the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) to a historic win, securing 120 MLAs in the 234-member assembly.
Charan, who was present at a pre-release event for Peddi, congratulated Vijay and the people of Tamil Nadu, saying he was proud of Vijay's selfless decision to leave behind peak stardom.
Vijay has joined the league of iconic actor-turned-leaders like NT Rama Rao, MG Ramachandran, and J Jayalalithaa.
