Telugu star Ram Charan is set to entertain audiences with his upcoming film Peddi. The actor, along with the film's director Buchi Babu Sana, has been promoting the film, and during one interaction, they discussed the making of the movie.
Ram Charan revealed that he had to undergo two body transformations for Peddi, going from a cricketer's physique to a wrestler's physique, both of which were extremely different.
Director Buchi Babu Sana initially hesitated to ask Ram for such drastic transformations, but the actor replied that he genuinely enjoyed the process.
However, Ram also spoke about the physical impact the transformations had on him after the shoot wrapped up, including pains surfacing from everywhere and even lifting his daughter hurting his hand.
The actor concluded that shooting for Peddi was not only physically challenging but also a spiritual experience, and the film revolves around a man's search for identity through sport.
Peddi is directed by Buchi Babu Sana, produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, co-produced by Ishan Saksena under IVY Entertainment, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
