The sports drama Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, is experiencing a sharp decline in box office collections. After a strong opening weekend, the film earned less than ₹10 crore on its seventh day, with international markets shutting down, earning less than $100K. The film's domestic earnings stand at ₹187.25 crore net (₹222.50 crore gross) and ₹273 crore gross globally.

Peddi's collections have been affected by online criticism of Janhvi Kapoor's objectification, with several viewers slamming the film's makers for using her as a prop. Director Buchi Babu Sana has apologized and promised to change the offending scenes. The film is now set to end its first week behind the lifetime collections of OG, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, and Mahavatar Narsimha.
