Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, has left fans disappointed with no update on Ram Navami. However, producer Namit Malhotra has announced that the next glimpse of the film will be released on Hanuman Jayanti (April 2).
Malhotra shared a note on X, expressing gratitude for the fans' love and patience. He also revealed that the next glimpse, titled 'Rama,' will be showcased on April 2, coinciding with Hanuman Jayanti.
The first glimpse of the film, released in July 2025, presented a striking contrast between Yash's intense Ravana and Ranbir Kapoor's calm Lord Rama. The teaser hinted at the film's larger mythological canvas, featuring powerful visuals of Ranbir climbing a tree and wielding a bow and arrow.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. The film is set to release worldwide in October 2026, ahead of Diwali.
