Namit Malhotra, producer of the highly anticipated Ramayana film, has announced that the next glimpse of the movie will be released on Hanuman Jayanti, April 2. This comes after fans were left disappointed when no update was shared on Ram Navami, March 26.
The first glimpse of the film, which was unveiled on July 3, 2025, presented a striking contrast between Yash as Ravana and Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. It also offered a glimpse of the larger mythological canvas, hinting at the epic showdown between Rama and Ravana.
Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and features a powerful music score by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. Ramayana Part One is set to release worldwide in October 2026, ahead of Diwali.
