After the success of Mirzapur, another hit Indian show is set to hit the big screens. Inspector Avinash, starring Randeep Hooda, will be made into a film, confirms director Neerraj Pathak.
The series writer-director Neerraj Pathak says they have decided to take the show to cinema halls due to the overwhelming response and demand for the third season. They have already started working on the script.
The film will be based on the real-life operations of Avinash Mishra, a Special Task Force (STF) and Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) officer. The trio - Pathak, Hooda, and Avinash Mishra - have discussed the film possibility since the inception of the series.
The film will feature a mix of action, drama, and crime, with a vast canvas of characters, including a big STF team, family, politicians, and criminals. The director plans to shoot the film in Uttar Pradesh, where the series began.
New faces and characters may also be introduced in the film, in addition to the existing cast, including Urvashi Rautela, Amit Sial, and Abhimanyu Singh.
