The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has revoked its ban against actor Ranveer Singh in the Don 3 row. This comes after Farhan Akhtar and Excel Entertainment complained about the actor following his walkout. President of the Cine and TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA), Poonam Dhillon, told Variety India that Ranveer’s father, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, thanked her for her support.

Poonam was vocal in her support of Ranveer when the FWICE announced the non-cooperation against him. She told the publication that, as far as she knew, the actor had an ‘excellent relationship’ with the production house, as he had worked with them on Gully Boy (2019) and Dil Dhadakne Do (2015). She clarified that her support is for Ranveer as well as Farhan, since he’s an actor too.

Poonam revealed about Ranveer’s father thanking her and said, “I spoke to Ranveer's father at length and we have been corresponding on WhatsApp. He has thanked me for our support. We spoke to them to understand the situation. He told me they had been interacting with Excel Entertainment and how close and fond he is of Farhan and the Excel team. There's no animosity from his side.”

She also added that, however, they are not happy with the FWICE, stating, “They were not happy with the way FWICE had handled it. I asked him whether CINTAA could be of help. But he said, 'We didn't involve you because we didn't want to trouble you and we're already in the process of sorting it out.' Technically, he didn't need our intervention. I'm glad the matter has been resolved in a positive manner.”
