The Hindi film industry was stunned as the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) issued a non-cooperation directive against actor Ranveer Singh, asking their members to boycott his projects.
The move came amid Ranveer's ongoing feud with actor-producer Farhan Akhtar over their film, Don 3.
FWICE President Ashoke Pandit explained the rationale behind the move, stating that Ranveer ignored their notices and that the Federation received no response to their complaints.
Ranveer was accused of walking out of the film days before the shoot was to begin, causing massive monetary losses of approximately ₹45 crores to the producers.
Ashoke Pandit urged other producers in India to support the move, stating that none of their workers or members would work on any of Ranveer's projects.
